Not a record for everyone, for sure. The instruments really take their time, absolutely no hurry to get anywhere. Relaxing and beautifully mesmerizing. Progressive rock doesn't get more symphonic.
"Tago Mago", "Ege Bamyasi" and "Future Days" are, for sure, the band's greatest and most well-known records. Out of the three, this is the most accessible one, but also the weakest. Hypnotic and repetitive drumming, wild, odd, psychedelic and courageous experimentations, jamming... all of these elements are present in the three records in different ways, and all of them feel very avant-garde and wonderful to this day.

In 2022, Youtube recommended me "Scream Drive Faster" and "Appetite". I was immediately infatuated, and to this day, these two tracks rank very high among my favorite songs. Laurel's vocals are very beautiful and pleasant, but that's not all, these two tracks are original, contain the sexiest bass lines and feel fresh and addictive. Honestly a great collection of tracks! "Mother Sky" is an amazing harbinger of what's yet to come in their future records. The rest of the tracks are good and fun, with a special mention to "Tango Whiskyman" - it tends to strongly stick in my head and I adore it. Not as deep as their masterpieces, but very enjoyable!
"Tago Mago" is challenging, extremely deep, full of textures and sometimes it doesn't even feel like music. To fully appreciate, you must be in a specific mindset for sure. Let me use "Aumgn" as an example - there are very few moments when I want to listen to it, but under the right circumstances, the track seduces me and pulls me into a bottomless psychedelic landscape like nothing else. Exploring it is one of the most unique feelings ever.
