Not a record for everyone, for sure. The instruments really take their time, absolutely no hurry to get anywhere. Relaxing and beautifully mesmerizing. Progressive rock doesn't get more symphonic.

"Tago Mago", "Ege Bamyasi" and "Future Days" are, for sure, the band's greatest and most well-known records. Out of the three, this is the most accessible one, but also the weakest. "Tago Mago" is challenging, extremely deep, full of textures and sometimes it doesn't even feel like music. To fully appreciate, you must be in a specific mindset for sure. Let me use "Aumgn" as an example - there are very few moments when I want to listen to it, but under the right circumstances, the track seduces me and pulls me into a bottomless psychedelic landscape like nothing else. Exploring it is one of the most unique feelings ever.

The jammy straightforward ... read more
