I dunno... I suppose it 'sounds' like what you'd expect a modern North American World Cup theme song to sound like... but it really lacks the fun factor of the better World Cup songs. This isn't 'celebration of the world's love of football' music, more 'we are the best at football' music. I don't think that's what the World Cup should be about. You get me?
One of those hip hop songs you could imagine coming out (with a few modifications) in almost any decade.
Don't know what prompted such a low rating. I hear a very good marriage of modern alt-pop production with new wave aesthetic in this.

They've already put out three widely publicised EPs and they're getting double the attention and resources a regular indie rock band would get at this stage in their career thanks in no small part to the existing popularity of their lead singer. If they're still spinning their wheels in the mud right now I don't have high hopes for their future release quality."
