The Smiths - Meat Is Murder
81

Friend of mine said the first album was mid so I’m starting here. A bit on the inconsistent side but still filled with some great songs. Barbarism begins at home is my favorite.

The Dismemberment Plan - Change
86

More Consistent than Emergency and I but still filled with songs that don’t compete with The City

Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley
83

Gotta Love Pre Stone Age Josh Hommes Guitar Work 😎🌵🎸

Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II
84

Such a cool ass duo. I swear that opening track had my attention. Sarniezz is my personal favorite in this album with such a hooking bassline and rapid pace snaring. I think the album starts to slowly fall off a bit as it goes on but none the less still filled with lots of bangers. Could potentially be Album of the Year

Wolfmother - Victorious
76

Honestly really boring and diluted. Eye of the Beholder is one of the greatest Wolfmother songs ever that it genuinely feels like it shouldn’t belong in this album but rather the title album. But other than that, I feel like this is when Wolfmother started to loose their magical touch going for more of a poppy sound rather than stoner rock. Rather unfortunate but I didn’t hate this album. It’s mostly just kinda mid.

My Chemical Romance - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys
80

Definitely fuck with the early 2010s summer vibe on this album but this is by far the weakest I’ve seen from My Chemical Romance. Bulletproof heart is an absolute banger worthy of any recognition the song gets. But still definitely a good album to listen to on a long walk in the hot sun.

The Alan Parsons Project - Eye in the Sky
85

When it comes to performative feeling albums for me. This one is really great. Every track in this album is actually good especially Silence and I which is a Masterpiece. However I think the second half while good definitely takes a dip into more shallow waters. Again it’s a great album just a bit overrated.

Traitor - Exiled To The Surface
63

I am in complete disappointment. Traitor is by far the most underrated thrash metal band of all time and they really dropped the ball with this album. And there are only two good tracks that may even be great but everything else just fucking sucks. I wish that there was more of a fun order of where the songs play and I am just not a fan of all of the covers speaking of which there are so many filler tracks in this album that I can barely say its an album. The Teutonic storm remake genuinely ... read more

Nothing But Thieves - Nothing But Thieves
85

I will definitely be checking out more of this band. Great album honestly. The first 5 tracks plus trip switch are the best tracks. If I Get High is a masterpiece.

Helmet - Meantime
85

Insanely consistent album. Nearly every track is good and the first four and Better are bangers.

Kevin MacLeod - Take the Lead
43

So really good songs on here but it’s really just background filler

Radiohead - The King of Limbs
52

Holy shit does this suck. I couldn’t even tell what type of sound this album is going for. How does a band this legendary make an album this dull and boring. Like genuinely I don’t think there is a single good track and the best ones are passable at best. Skip this album if you plan on listening to all the Radiohead albums but this is undoubtedly last place.

Tame Impala - InnerSpeaker
81

A pretty solid first album. This was when Tame Impala was reaching for more of a psychedelic pop sound which is well executed in many songs. Very consistent but none of these songs except for Alter Ego really stand out and I think it gets pretty boring at times but definitely a lot of pretty good songs on here.

Arctic Monkeys - AM
80

Honestly kinda boring compared to the sounds of the other Arctic Monkeys. I wanna be yours and R U mine are definitely the best off the album. Definitely a bit poppy compared to other albums Arctic Monkeys made but still pretty solid

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection
84

Rating these for the bonus tracks

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
83

I miss this version of Katy Perry. The creative pure genius Katy Perry. This is a surprising solid album I will say. The one that got away is an amazing amazing song and definitely the best song that Katy Perry has honestly ever made

my bloody valentine - loveless
84

A really great album. Definitely important to shoe gaze history

yung kai - stay with the ocean, i'll find you
72

Falls apart completely after blue.

Rick Astley - Whenever You Need Somebody
70

Album continues to fall off slower and slower
