Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH
90

Seriously Fun listen, I was gonna listen to this and go to bed but now Ima just pull an all-nighter cause it gave me that HYPERYOUTH

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - Carpe Diem, Moonman
88

Im finna hit the dmt cart, not enough to break through tho -Loc T Nguyen. On the real this album is pretty darn good reminds me alot of king glizzy and the rizzard wizard.

Natalia Lafourcade - Cancionera
88

I am a disgrace to my family. Im hispanic and yet I can not speak spanish. On the plus though this album is soothing and relaxing even though I have no idea what the lyrics mean.

Sleep Token - Even in Arcadia
30

This band had so much potential but have no direction and feel quite artificial and at times too overproduced on this album. Even In Arcadia is the equivalent of throwing sh*t at the wall and hopping it sticks with fans as well as the "majority". This almost feels like, I hate to say this, an example of a band getting caught in the tiktokification and just riding the wave. Sleep token feel like the new metal band that your average joe would say "see metal/rock is still ... read more

Deafheaven - Lonely People With Power
100

I didn't know that headbanging and the feeling of floating could coexist on a album, but Deafheaven seems to have pulled it off on me :D

Alter Bridge - Blackbird
86

Solid rock album, Blackbird and and Watch Over You made me cry ;(

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet
90

I thought everything in this album was pretty good. Anesthetize is the clear standout with some great instrumentals and really good pacing that made a almost 18 minute listen feel super short. I wanted more!

Opeth - Blackwater Park
100

Simply the greatest Prog Death Metal album of the current era. All of the tracks are simply dark yet beautiful. Bleak is my clear pick of a standout. Simply put track #2 has some of the best mixing I have ever seen for a song.

Carly Rae Jepsen - The Loveliest Time
94

This is unironically my most listened to album of last year. Kamikaze and Psychedelic Switch are straight bangers. If track #1 and #4 were not in this album this would compete with the likes of Emotion for me personally.

*Note - Carly is engaged now so whats the point of living if I can't wife her. OH WELL AT LEAST SHES ALMOST OLD ENOUGH TO BE MY MOTHER U DROPPED THIS QUEEN 👑

Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops
95

Sludgy metal is good metal! This is some peak metal, I really love the screams of track #7 and the sound of track #2 especially. I do say it can drag on a little bit but its fairly consistent in terms of quality. Another album to add to my list of bloated but goated.

The Cure - Songs of a Lost World
95

This is some top notch comeback by The Cure and I'm lovin it. I especially love how the first half is very soothing then as soon as track #5 hits im shook in the best way possible. Do take look at the live stream performance of this album provided by the band free of charge on YouTube. Its exceptional.

Opeth - The Last Will and Testament
88

This album going to be on loop once I become Count Dracula!

But on the actual though, a great album by my favorite Prog Death metal band Opeth. Some of the songs feel like if Tool decided to go full Victorian era which I personally love. Also the growls and screams are back! In my opinion the most cohesive project since Watershed.

Nine Inch Nails - Still
92

Good acoustic renditions of many of NIN's catalogue. Also contains one of my favorite tracks (#7) which still makes me cry to this day.

Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
99

If you have 2 hours, listen to this all in one go, you will thank me later.

Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth
82

A childhood classic of mine that still holds up :)

96

This album is my biggest surprise of the year and a good one at that! The only problem is explaining the album cover when someone looks at my Spotify Discord status...

Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR
93

BMTH's best project, full stop.

Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn
70

Its solid, If anything this shows that BMTH can go in many different directions and somehow make it work.

Joey Valence & Brae - NO HANDS
88

This album is so fun! I never would have thought I would like somethin like this until about a couple months ago when I first listened to it.

Nine Inch Nails - Broken
98

NIN's most metal project. Definitely recommend any metal head who is vaguely interested in industrial or noise.
