This humble introspective album by Tyler, The Creator has a very strong sound identity that makes up for it's thematic diversity.
the cover kinda lured me into giving it a listen back in 2025. afterwards I was remarkably indifferent towards it, black opps is good art rock tho
I don't even ask if it's worth an 100, because all props go to her for making me REALLY fall in love with music back in 2020ish. Lame, ik, but that's what separated me from a "normie" back then and it's also my way of humbling myself to not be condescending. This a number one champion sound.
idk if it's because i picked the stereo version but i found it very interesting for its year of release
this is the most experienced i have ever jimied... repeating song concepts on different parts of the album fits well on acid rock
Behold, the Proto-prog! It's alright and I find it very diverse instrumentally. The "sunshine and rainbows" element is one I find pretty distracting and the reason it took a while for The Beach Boys to grow on me, but is also pretty telling on the influence that Hard Rock had on prog.
With an even denser sound when compared to its predecessor, Led Zeppelin II is solid. Almost too solid, cause i don't wanna squeeze Plant's lemon. Very Zeppelin.
This rating is completely partial and emotionally motivated. There is no other way to review this record. Can't say it's all on Fraser's. I don't think there was ever any production like it before and it's unlikely there ever will be. Heavenly, Cherry-coloured, Frou-frou, Las Vegas.
it's jazz and i cant take it for granted, which is why i dedicated my chemistry hw for it
