Don’t Believe The Truth-Oasis (2005)
After the train of Heathen Chemistry was finished, Oasis got back into the studio and made another album. This time the evolved sound had been polished into a much nicer state.
Turn Up The Sun is a song that catches your attention for the album by throwing you straight in, kind of like fucking in the bushes but with a more “sinister” undertone. And vocals, of course. The bridge/outro mellows the song out, transitioning into Mucky ... read more
Heathen Chemistry - Oasis (2002)
After realizing that being the guys who made Wonderwall can only get you so far, Oasis decided to get back and record some songs that will strengthen their brand instead of milk its udders into complete blandness.
The Hindu Times blasts us into a strange new territory that Oasis hasn’t stepped into for a while, not daring to try since their sophomore album. And it really really works. The weird riff combined with the very powerful vocals combine to make a ... read more
Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants - Oasis (2000)
Fucking In The Bushes is great, but the momentum is momentarily dropped after it to pick up Go Let It Out. It does regain it, but it takes a bit into the song.
Who Feels Love is another Oasis track that starts off bad and ends really good. Flows well with the album as well.
Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is sounds oddly familiar…but it still kicks ass.
Little James is forgettable. Not a fan but it’s not bad.

I like the direction and the sound of these songs, but the middle just tends to get very repetitive, aside from the singles and hits.
First couple of listens, I didn’t get it. At all. Why are the only tracks that stick with me the singles? Why do the songs just sometimes feel so lazy?
And then I realized something.
Parklife isn’t just “about” the idea of doing anything but work, and looking forward to anything but work, after the first couple of tracks, you are placed RIGHT into a vacation. After the track “Parklife” to be exact. That’s why it has such a leisurely feel! I dunno. This ... read more
I like it. Just not very many tracks stand out and are memorable, but that doesn’t make it bad.
This is so lame. If you’re gonna do a box set at least have some unreleased stuff on there or something actually worth the price tag. 600$ for what a normal box set should have is insane. Lame as usual for smashing pumpkins box sets.
This album gets a lot of hate for some reason but a lot of these tracks are actually really fun and nice to listen to. (Half-Truism, You’re Gonna Go Far Kid, Hammerhead, A Lot Like Me, Fix You, etc) it’s pretty good.
There are a lot of b-sides slid in here that are pretty good. But at the same time, there’s just some moments where it feels like meh after meh. But it’s paced very well for a singles box set and there’s not a song that’s horrible, so I can’t complain about it that much. It’s pretty good
WOW. Chester Bennington is amazing man. Not to mention this awesome set? It’s just amazing.
Very good album. I like a lot of the songs on here and it has a very nice atmospheric, sad but also happy sound. The happy songs sound happy, the sad songs sound sad, but they all sound like they belong together.
