This person put a ton of effort into conveying their emotional devastation and hardships from their relationship. It is brutal and real and sometimes hard to stomach. There are moments like on the song masturbate that are intentionally harder to listen to, and for good reason. it's not easy to pull that off and I do think Blegh sticks the landing on most songs.

Stoned Jesus continues to be one of the more interesting and intriguing stoner metal bands out there. Really wearing their influences on the sleeve with this one, usually for the better but sometimes for the worse. Still, this band releases good album after good album, compelling me to keep listening. With songs to sun, I find myself in a crossover between classic stoner music like Pink Floyd and the more recently developed drone sound that took over black metal. Ends is the type of album that I may not listen to every day, but most of the songs will still stick with me. Nick Lutsko does essentially what is a victory lap with his longest and most ambitious project to date. As someone who found Nick in this album cycle, it was intriguing to see his growth over the years, both as an artist and as a performer.
