personally my aoty for 2024, when i first heard this record it was absolutely incredible, its easily vince's most personal record to date and its just all around a fantastic record
when i first heard this track i actually didnt think that let god sort em out had any potential of being album of the year(i was wrong) and i still do think that this is easily the worst on the album
is it crazy to call this mos def's best work? because personally atleast i wasn't a big fan of black on both sides, but this just is peak rapping performance after peak rapping performance although i do feel like it falls apart towards the middle, still a fantastically enjoyable project

Its obviously super early to give this a review but from my 2nd listen, this is a solid project, its good not great theres some filler here and there but yet there are some great highlights, but kenny did NOT grace us with feature of the year😭

How to impress god is a fucking slapper but the rest of the album is just... fine i suppose
easily the best hiphop comeback album of all time, the 1st disc is an absolute masterclass of the genre, the 2nd disc is great aswell but the first disc is just absolute perfection
Wayne is one of the most overrated rappers of all time but theres no denying that he has bangers.

Now this is a proper wayne album, it might sound outdated sure but theres so many bangers on this project, this was truly prime wayne.
Favorite song: best rapper alive/fireman

When i was younger i bumped this album like it was my part time job, revisited it recently and ehh it has its bangers but it gets boring super fast.

Brownie points for baptized in fire having one of the most psychedelic beats of all time
cudi is one of my favorite artists of all time but this album just feels... weak compared to the rest of the motm series, motm2 got me through some shit in life and it may be my favourite album of all time, but this just feels kinda like a slap in the face its good dont get me wrong, but nothing extraordinary.
Its starting to grow on me, cudi's trap vocals are super infectious
