Although not my choice for rap album of the year, I see why it was chosen.

In a somewhat weak grammy nomination lineup with no JPEG, Logic, Denzel, Mach Hommy, Lupe Fiasco, Don Toliver, Vince staples, Westside Gunn, or schoolboy q, this album stands out ahead of the other 4 nominated.

Pete rock delivers great beat after great beat, and common compliments them almost perfectly, with Pete rock spitting some decent bars himself.
