From the moment the opening chords of Alison wash over you until the final strum of Dagger, Souvlaki sends you floating through a dream. A wonderous, comforting dream laid on by the mellow blanket of fuzzy instruments, the melancholic edge to the soft vocals, and the lush yet spacy mixing.
