I mean from a money pov it makes sense that theyre touring so much right now and not releasing any music, since they basically went viral overnight (mainly with Under Spell blowing up on TikTok). after listening to this album the whole debate about whether lady gaga is better than her honestly feels pointless. Even if her last four albums are objectively VERY bad, her run from self titled through confessions is one of the best streaks not just in pop, but in music overall. Ray of Light is particularly remarkable because its insane that she pulled off a trip-hop influenced album packed with such deeply introspective lyrics.
