just one of those perfect singles thats hard to critique or talk about in any critical or analytical means. it's just peak, it is her best song probably ever in my opinion. GO listen to it if you want to know why. unbelievable that this came out AT ALL, but in 1965 is fucking insane

never been my absolute fav off of vespertine, but a fucking gorgeous track nonetheless. cutting edge production, flawless vocal performance as always, the whole thing is just heavenly and unreal. magical!!!!!!!

top tier daft punk, and that's saying a WHOLE LOT. have you seen the sample breakdowns for how they made this shit? fucking unbelievable, honestly. this is one of the greatest songs ever made, in my opinion. maybe the best french house song ever made in my eyes, although daft punk have several songs OFF OF THIS VERY ALBUM that challenge that title for me. extraordinary single, it's essentially flawless

amazing and incredible and lauryn hill is the queen but i could not get over the fact that this made me think of nice for what the whole time. i hate that song!

first time hearing this one and i literally cried off the first listen. unbelievably beautiful, dreamy, sweet, fuck. wow. incredible track.

truly haunting and eerie shit. touches on a certain darkness that is difficult to define, and is steeped in religious metaphor and dark, confused paranoia. this one will be sticking with me, no doubt.

really fun! has some great vibes radiating off of it, and that instrumental? mwah! stevie wonder is the man
#15/500
probably the most memorable song ever made for me in terms of the lyrics which is CRAZY for how long it is. def one of my favorite songs ever, ignore this rating im too lazy to update it

it's fine. doesn't really spark much intrigue and is pretty poorly mixed. vocals are fine, instrumental is fine, the whole thing is very fineee

helped me through one of the darkest times of my life and i cant thank phil enough for that.

beautiful, soulful, joyous shit. everyone loves this song. i love this song. my dog loves this song (probably). my mom loves this song. it's just a good time, gorgeous in every sense of the word, but not perfect

one of my favs off atrocity exhibition, crazy and awesome banger of a track. i have mixed feelings on the mv but yeah, the instrumental is iconic at this point, and idk if danny's vocal delivery has ever been as effective to me as it is on this song

obvious classic. idk if it's my favorite from 36 chambers, but DAMN is it a good one. i think i just prefer some of the harder hitting bangers to the slower cuts like this, if that make sense
