one of the few songs to ever make me cry. genuinely breathtaking, a perfect song. i loved this track from the moment i first heard it, but after seeing evangelion... yeah, it's just too overwhelmingly powerful for me to give it anything less. it's one of my favorite songs ever made
yeah, it's cringe and pretty bad but i honestly think the hate is a little unjustified. this is literally just jojo in her reputation era. it's cringe even in the moment and wont age well at all but i mean look, give the girl time she's been stuck being every 5 year old girl's idol for like the past decade, she has to find some way to break out of that mold

I never used to click with this track but upon revisiting I actually think it's kind of a masterpiece. I love how bright and summery the instrumentation on this track is, specifically in the first half, that light acoustic lead, those bright horns, and of course the busy drum performances that give the track a certain tumultuous feeling that I find irresistible and so, so memorable.
