Honestly didn't really like it, YOKOHAMA blues is extremely catchy and very good but thats about it.
I'm obsessed with this album, Slayyyter is a fucking genius. I genuinely can't belive Starfucker and James Dean weren't on the main tracklist bc they are easily the two best songs on the album. That said there's only like 1-2 bad songs on the whole thing, super impressive work.
Masterclass in vocaloid by Inabakumori. As someone who makes vocaloid music themself, what Inabakumori does is not easy to do. He perfectly captures the vibe of every song by precisely balancing the vocal tuning, making it just robotic enough to remind you that you're listening to vocaloid but just realistic enough to make everything feel natural. So so so impressive, easily his best work from start to finish and everything he makes I get beyond excited for.
Inabakumori has such an amazing, nostalgic, ethereal sound that he manages to capture on every song. Really really good, and I love almost every song on the album. My personal favorite is Tears Radar, that bridge is fucking immaculate and puts 99% of other music to shame on its own.
I think it's pretty good all things considered. It's not mindblowing or revolutionary but a lot of the songs are really spectacular. Readymade, Odo, Gira Gira, Kokorotoiunanofukakai, and Motherland are all really fun songs for me. I don't love Usseewa as much as other people but it's still good. All around solid.
Very good album all around. I really don't have much else to say other than that they are so so good at what they do. Gay rights
Not as good as SAWAYAMA but still has so many amazing hits! I'm beyond excited to see what she does next
LOVE this album!! MYTH&ROID never disappoints.
edit 87 -> 77: just not really memorable. i dont think about it often enough for me to give it above an 80 tbh, most things i rate that high have some kind of impact on me but not really this album. still great quality, i just have felt less intensely positive about it lately.
I really liked this album! Most of the songs weren't things I'd listen to regularly but some of them have become my absolute favorites.
Love this album! Not necessarily their best but it has some of my favorite songs of theirs.
evermore peaks higher than folklore but also dips lower, which I think evens it out to being just as good if only slightly better. champagne problems, tolerate it, no body no crime, marjorie, and evermore are some of the best music she has ever created.
This album is GORGEOUS. All the way through. Start to finish. Easily tied with evermore for her best work to date, nothing can replicate the experience of listening to this from start to finish on a warm summer night.
I thought this album was pretty damn good the first time I listened to it but it's kinda fallen off my radar since then. Still has some great hits and I love to listen all the way through once every couple months but I think it's lower on the list of her best albums.
Really cool album conceptually and I ADORE some of the songs. Laputa is one of my favorites I've heard in a long time. I just don't love the R>O>T versions at the end as cool as they are and a couple songs weren't really things I'd listen to.
