Very good debut. Really enjoyed it, but the streaming version is much better imo.
Not as good as Rodeo, but still very solid! Some tracks like Mamacita, Quintana Pt. 2 and Backyard still slap. Also it should be titled A Year and Like Two Weeks Before Rodeo
Never Catch Me is genuinely one of the greatest things i have EVER heard.
You know how long it took for me to listen to this album? Too fucking long. This is amazing all throughout, especially Doo Wop which might be one of my favorite songs of all time. Easily one of the best albums I’ve ever heard, and its themes are (at least to me) pretty damn relatable. Peak hip hop and r&b right here.
It’s arrogant, and that’s why it’s amazing. Elizabeth alone imo is the best track in WSG’s whole career (especially the delivery of the verse “Can’t nobody fuck with me, I’m the one”) I love this album so much.
