Discord Review (07/30/24)
This is probably Disturbed's weakest album. There are 6 "hard" songs and 4 acoustics in this album and it's kinda distracting. It's very clear they're trying to grab onto what made their Sound of Silence cover so popular and trying to beat that down in this album. It doesn't really work and the heavy songs on this album aren't as good as from other albums. I'll admit Are You Ready is a banger and is in my top 10 favorite Disturbed songs. The Best Ones Lie is also a very solid one that tries to get the heavy energy back. Overall, this album is a mess with some solid moments here and there, but I'm glad they stopped this path after this album.
