I don't think I have ever cried more than when I listened to this album. Such a brutal depiction of gender dysmorphia, with the cacophanous, alienating echoes of the ambience making me feel trapped in a large abandoned warehouse, the warehouse I am trpped in being my body, feeling as if everything is in its wrong place and nothing feels right. Dissonant and lonely balladry that is sold perfeclty by Mitski's yearning vocal deliveries, which scream out for something more and getting nothing in return. jim morrison looks like he had just the shittiest diet ever. anyways this thing is pretty solid blues rock. and im calling this a blues rock album because the only songs here that are even remotely psychedelic are Strange Days, Unhappy Girl. Horse Latitudes, People are Strange, and When's the Music's Over. everything else im pretty indifferent to, though i will admit Love Me Two Times fucks.
