hot take maybe but i think i liked the idea of this album more than the album itself 😭
the atmosphere is amazing and beth's voice is unreal, but a lot of the songs felt like they were asking me to admire them rather than feel them.
"roads" and especially "glory box" absolutely destroyed me, but the rest ranged from good to "yeah that's nice i guess".
i get why it's a masterpiece for so many people, it just wasn't for me.

Eu já conhecia músicas da Madonna. Muitas, na verdade. E recentemente tinha começado a mergulhar em sua discografia através de Bedtime Stories, um álbum que já havia me mostrado uma artista muito mais íntima e emocional do que a caricatura pública construída ao redor dela.
