Completely structureless flavourless rnb without any hint of the soul, reminds me of boiled chicken. Chicken which can and HAS been cooked with perfect gourmet quality a dozen times over already ffs, so WHY???
I really don't like making negative reviews, even for Drake who I genuinely don't care to hate at all tbh, even with my own bias towards, (of course) guess who, Kendrick who has made some of my favourite music. I genuinely don't like rating in bad faith which is annoying ... read more
...People really rated this compilation including the second disk demos and bonus tracks? 💔💔💔
Jesus christ...
Anyways, this is peak, one big fat ass review one day
Very good. The concept of the album didn't do anything for me, but considering this was one of the first to do such a thing, it doesn't deduct from this great little collection of songs.
Is this a track for track perfect killer? No, but very close to it!
Very enjoyable with some of the most iconic and greatest songs ever on this
I miss veteran era peggy, super nostalgic
I'll write something better later at some point, 2 lazy rn. for now - MAN
These cuts are some of my favourite JPEGMAFIA tracks ever, the first five run of tracks were singles I used to listen to a BUNCH just individually before I discovered this sorta release ep thingy
Peggy in this era used to have a very, "rough" industrial(?) sound that was sorta insufferable on black ben carson t later on properly made more catchy while retaining ... read more
Again, another little flower I'll leave as a "mark" to remind myself to come back here, because I have too much of a damn catalogue to really speak all my thoughts on this extreme masterpiece of an album, which itself is arguably my favourite album of all time as well..
This album is incredibly special, and while not the absolute track for track maximalist hitter like purple rain, it's incredibly close, and the highs on the experience of this album I feel are just... Some ... read more
Well, this is a little awkward... I guess this is my second favourite album from Hakushi, oops
Hakushi is well known for their eccentric batshit insane jazzy production, their three big notable releases (beside from their wonderful standalone singles) being the "Somoku Hodo" EP, and the two LP's "Air Ni Ni" and "Mahogakko.
This album is quite the black sheep, as this project offers a stripped down album with only a piano and hakushi's singing. This is VERY ... read more
I always thought the Yellow Magical Orchestra and touhou artists/music have had very similar feeling melodies and, idk, just, "vibe", this album sorta gives me a little more confidence in that comparision
Now of course, I'm not a touhou expert so I can't tell if these are rearrangment of Zun's OG touhou tracks or all complete original shibahan record stuff - regardless, what is on display on this album is extremely excellent stuff,
I don't know electronic genres ... read more
Sounds like if you forced Prince & New Order/Joy Division to collab together and forced to use their synths as much as possible to my ears lol
Throughly impressed, I can do without "drunk girls" which sounds like a really desperate radio hit, especially compared with the rest of the songs here which are VERY VERY VERY good, especially "dance yrself clean" which very much holds up to the hype that surrounds it. So much so that having it be the first track makes the rest ... read more

THIS IS THE 69 AND 74 DEBUT?
THIS IS THE ALBUM THAT IVE HEARD COUNTLESS TIMES BE CALLED PRINCE'S "MEH" DEBUT?
Okay, well, admittedly, this album is nowhere near the peaks of say "Sign o the times" or of course, "Purple Rain", BUT STILL, DAMN
Prince on this album isn't the legendary musician formally known as Prince, O(+>, or even the legendary: Purple Yoda 💜👽
Prince here on this album is ... read more
SHE DID NOTHING WRONG
Also easily my favourite song from milgram, super cheesy but stupid catchy like candy
warning i suppose: mentions of suicide, sweet
One of my favourite and my second favourite album from the cure. Only problem is that I can only listen to this when am in an incredibly awful mental state, and if not - I end up triggering such a state by listening to this :')
For that, one point off for you Mr. Smith! (still a masterpiece though)
The songs on this have the cures best drum work, super aggressive and relentless, almost never stopping for a moment. It sounds like drummer is ... read more
Shoutout & big ty to the homie @fym for his review and for adding this to the site :D, saw it and thought I needed me something nice to help me chill... and i not disappoint at all people... Yeeeessh...
I was expecting something akin to a folky bossa nova cut, with some pretty sung female japanese vocals and some nice guitar- but, nah. What we got here instead is a... "Smooth jazz(?)" (I believe) album with a lot of those bossa nova parts interspersed, and as someone who as of ... read more
One of the best future funk albums - if not the best!
Released back when future funk still had much of it's roots in vaporwave and wasn't just seasonless weeaboo french house and nu disco :'). This album stands its ground and despite being from such a disposable postmodern genre: ironically stands up straight still as a classic album regardless.
It's infectious, repetitive, simple, and so hypnotic
In my honest opinion? This album even rivals other great albums outside ... read more
Prince, you're really annoying. I am sure it has been written before but why is a song about doing your older sister so damn GROOVY? DAMN
Hits hits hits hits hits hits, and more hits. Such a groovy and (ha) dirty album, charismatic, and so funky. It's nearly impossible to listen to this without tapping my foot atleast a little
Just another great album from Prince, light, short, and super to the point. Just some really great 80s funk, the synth and genre blending too is just mwah. ... read more
Art like this is just... Just so good
I plan on writing a full academic essay on "good bad" art like this one day, so only my brief love filled thoughts for now -
This album, as one of my dear friends told me "sounds like you're being attack in an allyway", and honestly, it's so funny. This whole album and the way it interacts with others, the discussion, all the angry responses condemning others for liking such a putrid piece of art, all the weirdos who like ... read more
So peaceful, so quaint, just so amazing,
Listening to this instantly makes me feel like I am home for a snowy winter break again ♡
Ah, how can I forget? The very band I named my stupid account after.
...What a weird one. This will be a weird review for a weird band and weird album, and just my sorta thoughts on this band overall
New order is a very inconsistent band to me, having some of the highest highs in music ever, yet, they have never had a single proper LP that is actually a proper hit for hit masterpiece that I could easily consider my one of my favourite albums despite being one of my favourite bands... ... read more
