My favorite trip hop album by far. I might go as far to label this one of my favorite 90's album of all time too. Every song just feels right with Kelli Ali on vocals I just don't know. Favorite tracks are "Low Place Like Home" "6 Underground" "Becoming X" "Spin Spin Sugar" "Post-Modern Sleaze" "Wasted Early Sunday Morning" and "Roll On".
After enough time searching through youtube for folk records, I was recommended a few songs off this record and instantly was intrigued. Searched out for the record and managed to find someone that had the mp3 files for the full album and snagged it. Only a few standout songs, but the ones that do standout are incredible. Takeaway tracks are "Blind Man's Song" "Let the Rain" and "The Forgotten War" and "If We Regarded Tomorrow".
My go to for a stripped down acoustic delta blues album. Every song hits just right. Takeaway tracks for me were "My Home Is In The Delta" "My Captain" "Good Morning School Girl" "Cold Weather Blues" and "Country Boy"
Incredibly solid hard rock that stays interesting throughout the whole listen. Guitar is fantastic and vocals screech through with awesome power. Can easily recommend to anyone who likes rock in general. Take away tracks are "Freelance Fiend" "Sad Road to the Sea" "Work My Body" and "With a Minute to Go"
Really interesting album with a type of sound I've never really experienced from another jazz record. The first two tracks "More Colours" and "The Colours Of Chloë" are the stand outs for sure.
