DC has good production and great singing voice. He branches genres with this album and a main problem I find that takes a toll is he can sounds like every other artist on the radio rn. Every song from knock me off my feet to satellite sounds like basic radio music and that’s like my main problem. The songs that weren’t playlist worthy weren’t necessarily bad tho. In conclusion, there’s some great songs. Love it. Great album DC!!
Partynextdoor carried. There’s some cool love songs but besides that, this project is just really kinda mid man, Less than mid. The hate on Drake isn’t even forced, I just genuinely don’t really like Drake especially like right after Certified lover boy is when he really started sucking ass, this just isn’t a great project
J.Cole shows raw talent with fun and fire beats and great rapping, and that’s all I gotta really say, it’s a great album overall
Issbrokie makes her debut as a pop star under the name Shteppi and while it’s really good production wise, I’m not used to this kind of pop sound. I want to enjoy this project and it’s def better than some albums but it’s js, I don’t really find a lot of this replayable. It does definitely deserve some head bops tho, it’s a cool project, the highs are really high and the lows are pretty mid, starts and ends strong but the middle part feels kinda plain. fav ... read more
I don’t find myself enjoying this project as much mostly from the replayability on the songs and the controversial topics. The racist issues Nas faces in this project hit deep and can be disturbing at times, I don’t find myself feeling relateable. This is music for like the BLM Protesters and while I do believe Black Lives Matter I really don’t want to be apart of that because well I just don’t and it’s slightly controversial. It’s just nothing i walk down ... read more
Mario Judah bought his playboi carti costume off of wish.
While he doesn’t look like carti, the only thing that makes it look good is the material used to make it (the production)
It’s cool, great production and amazing vocals but sometimes it feels like he doesn’t keep the same tempo and rhythm for the rest of the album. Some songs don’t hit like the other ones
Very solid mix of R&B, Jazz, Soul, Blues, and funk and it’s really cool, this is some very nice production, Childish Gambino has some very wonky vocals, that’s the more artsy side and experimental side of this is the vocals. One issue I do find is that a lot of these songs sound too similar, but that doesn’t take away from this outstanding production necessarily. This is kinda like a more experimental version of “let’s start here” by lil Yachty, it ... read more
Honestly it’s okay, but I don’t really get the hype. It’s super loud and like very distorted for no reason and that is what you’re asking for when you listen to Lil Darkie I know, I js feel like he has better louder sounding tracks in his other songs. But I do really like the theme
I like this project, alchemist does a really great job on his production and mixing that with Freddie Gibbs talent in Lyricism makes a true bit of golden work I think
I like the Lofi sound of this album, he gives a lyrical and story telling style and I would say it’s in a good way, it can sound a bit sleepy at some parts but overall cool album
Theres really not much to say about this album. Really not good or crazy, average basic Karmamob glitchy sound.
The production is either really good, or really ass. I don’t really know what Christ D was going for here, not a lot to great here except the cool Wendigo guitar and features. Besides from that Christ Dillinger delivers a more offbeat and Chaotic vibe on this project
The idea of this album is In itself genius along with the production. Will I listen to all of this? No, I’m not about to torture myself with horror music for 6 hours. TLDR, This shit is terrifying and made me cry on the first song. Hell no I’m not finishing this.
Holy fuck.
I went into this album BLIND. I’m more of a rap type guy but hearing this fucking gorgeous thing made me bi curious bro, metal core is craaaaazy. I Fw this heavy man great album
