People refuse to accept that Eminem could possibly make a decent album lol. It’s got it’s highs and lows, but this is an improvement from MTBMB and the best album he’s come out with since TES in my opinion. If you like good rap, there’s some good songs on here for you. If you have a bias against Eminem and hate everything he drops regardless, fuck off and go listen to do Earl Sweathshirt or some other mid ass bullshit
The closest Eminem has ever been to pure mediocrity. This record does nothing wrong, while also not doing a lot right. I've never felt this way towards any of Eminem's albums before where I just come away from it feeling nothing. Every song sounds quite similar with these incredibly dated and bland pop-rap beats and Eminem has some sort of vocal effect on his voice throughout the album that is just a little off-putting to me. The energy Denzel brings to practically every track on here is so infectious and I honestly will never get tired of hearing it. The beats on here range from smooth, to bouncy, to dark and each one is executed to perfection. Every ... read more
Disclaimer: My rating for this album may change as more time passes
It finally feels like Eminem is back to having fun making music on this album. Everything that the original MTBMB did wrong was, for the most part, corrected on this version. He sticks to the Alfred Hitchcock theme much more on this album and it feels like a much more cohesive piece of work. The production on here is at times absolutely genius and is always fun to hear. There isn’t a single beat on here that I ... read more
