While it feels more like a playlist on shuffle rather than a cohesive album. The Life of Pablo is still a compelling listening experience for the most part.

When I first started listening to MF DOOM, my favorite album was Born Like This and this was honestly my third or fourth favorite. That was about two and a half years ago and now while I still enjoy Born Like This. The album lacks replay value. At least compared to this album. Personally this is my favorite tool album. It’s more of an alternative metal opus compared to the bands later progressive output. Which I do enjoy but this album gives me a darker grunge vibe. The lyrics are dark and Maynard’s vocals on this album are haunting. This is my favorite tool album and if it didn’t fall off in the second half it would be one of my favorite albums ever.
