a beautiful piece made up of songs that work perfectly separate and together
every song is very well crafted and the subjects he dives into are deeply personal yet dont feel non-relatable
works as both an experience as well as a musical album, my personal favorite pink floyd album, every song fits perfectly and flows amazingly together. feels longer than 45 minutes because you can get so much out of it.
a flawless album that kicked off the golden age of hiphop. not a single weak point to be found, just pure class and talent. the beats, writing, flow, and general vibe still stand as a touchstone for all hiphop that came after it. this album serves as a time capsule to when hiphop was still just about the soul and the music and just having a good friggin time with your friends :) oldhead ass take but its true........ theres nothing i can say that hasnt been said before about this album. its the basic bitch take for GOAT hiphop albums but for good reason. short and sweet, no bullshit filler. great, classic beats, fantastic writing and wordplay, conscious but not overbearing lyrics, perfect consistency throughout! its very good
hard to put into words how much there is in this album, an incredibly important album to both hiphop and culture in general
