sadly lame. Bruno's never been a particularly compelling lyricist, but usually makes up for it in production and groove. This album, though, is lyrically lacking and productionally paltry. Listening to 'I Just Might,' I'm reminded intensely of his debut album and struck by a feeling that nothing's changed in 16 years. Uninspired. drumming and production is next-level. Maybe she's an industry plant but boy is that plant getting watered.

Been on loop in my brain and my phone since it released. Really good stuff, and that's coming from someone with no particular prior draws to gospel music.

underrated imo. Some real bangers on here (Nightrider, Tidal Wave, I Did It for You).
