This is a TPAB-like album I feel like. Not in terms of sound, as this album’s sound is unique and distinctly Vince but in the social commentary of society, I’d say it uses TPAB as a model. One of the best critiques of America in the recent few years.
I listened because one of the songs had two of my goats on it (JID and Anderson). There are some pretty good songs but they’re covered by the mid. Sad to say this of Anderson .Paak but bro stick to your thing ðŸ˜
HE HAS EVOLVED
I love to see 6lack making this concept into an album, it fits right into Wholeheartedly with JID last year.
This is so fun and colorful. They do a lot of things that are so cool (Friendly Fire for example, a duo dissing each other on the same song is so cool and should be done more). It builds on music that already exists but in an innovative way, not to mention the amazing music videos for like all the songs that are always appreciated.
If you like an album that plays the same song over and over again, this is for you! Jk, I wouldn’t even recommend this to you people.
The same guy who goes on xQc’s stream to make sure people know that he doesn’t care about Kendrick or what happened is the same man who sued and bitched about the beef on almost every song on the album.
It seems all Drake can do is build his image (or in this case, break it down) with lies upon lies. He changes his style, music, and ... read more
I think this is your best beat yet. I would’ve liked it a bit more if it was less static (meaning there should be fluctuations and changes in the beat)
This is Kenny’s best album undoubtedly. His unique sound combining punk rock, hip hop, and trap have always been a standout and, for me, he combines these the most seamlessly on this album. He’s perfected his style, and yet I still want to see how it evolves.
Favorite/Best: Find God
other Favorite: Black Fit
There isn’t a single miss on this album, just some songs that are better than others
This shit can stay underground.
It’s just earrape. I’ve been recommended all these “underground” rappers (Osamason, Bleeod, Nettspend) and I’m left awestruck after each listen—not because of how good they are, but the opposite! To the people who made this a user score of 74, can you hear even a word he’s saying? He could be speaking Latin and no one would even know, and people would STILL like his music. I hate to be a hater but I can only hate this ... read more
This album was overhyped for me. I had never heard of Slayr and I heard this album was amazing and it’s just fine. Still, it’s a lot better than Osamason or Bleeod so kudos for that. Not my kind of music at the end of the day and I can see why people like this
I know it’s a kid and it’s honestly really impressive that a 12 year old made this, but age doesn’t cushion this rating. It wouldn’t be good if it was made by an adult, but still, VERY impressive for a 12 year old and I mean no hate
I like this one way more than the last, nice job on this. I’ll be waiting for the album
I prefer Malibu but this is still a great album. Anderson how tf did you make something as good as Tints??
Why is the mainstream so ass when music like this exists? Genuinely one of the best jazz rap albums I’ve listened to.
Simple beats, but fun beats. Flower Strings feels kinda bouncy and fun, idk how to describe it. I think the production can be more consistent—some of the beats are pretty good, some just don’t blend together. Again (I said this in my review on the single) please recommend me your work in the future I wanna see you grow as a producer
First off, thanks Comboplanet for putting me on—if you release more work please recommend me it again. This is honestly pretty good, it just needs a bit of work. I couldn’t do it if I tried tbf. The instrumental is a bit off beat but otherwise solid
