Simple beats, but fun beats. Flower Strings feels kinda bouncy and fun, idk how to describe it. I think the production can be more consistent—some of the beats are pretty good, some just don’t blend together. Again (I said this in my review on the single) please recommend me your work in the future I wanna see you grow as a producer
First off, thanks Comboplanet for putting me on—if you release more work please recommend me it again. This is honestly pretty good, it just needs a bit of work. I couldn’t do it if I tried tbf. The instrumental is a bit off beat but otherwise solid
I really love this album. Childish Gambino’s best, in my opinion. I wish I could rate it higher but what it wins in sheer gracefulness and soul is lost in some of the consistency (ahem, California—kinda burst this beautiful bubble). That’s really the only argument against this album.
Anderson.Paak’s best album in my opinion. Every song is such a banger and I like how jazzy and soul-like compared to Ventura (another great album)
MIKE’s album was underwhelming and Earl’s was definitely not his best. Still decent.
I’m getting this kinda Mac Miller mixed with J Cole feeling, REALLY solid project
Cool but who’s the crackhead on the cover?
Best: She Knows Too Much
Weakest: Great Americans
Can you ring my telephooone 🥹
Best: Sistanem
Favorite: Stars or Dance Now
Least Favorite: Money
Weakest: Bruddanem
Production, writing, insane flow, wordplay, meaning—this album has everything.
One of the best soundtracks in a movie that I’ve watched, love Sinners
This is probably her best work, over influence is insane. We need an LP though not 2 EPs
I’ve been listening to soul and neo-soul a lot lately and this is one of the best albums I’ve heard from the genre, really smooth and well-made. If you want something more akin to soul and more jazzy of Anderson.Paak’s, listen to Malibu.
