I strongly believe everyone has that one album that feels like an external manifestation of everything they've ever felt. For me, at least at this moment in time (the last two years until now) this is that album. Every song is perfect and represents such a candid expression of angst that I could never express without using this album to express it for me. I know Jane will never come back to this sound, but in a way that makes this all the more special. If it wasn't a teenager making ... read more
I was hating on the singles hard but fortunately the album did not sound like the singles! A lot of really cool experimentation, not all of it worked but the stuff that worked reallyyyyyy worked. Genuinely I think people are hating on this bc of Peggy being annoying, which I agree with but this is so much better than I Lay Down My Life for You. Really cool to see a brand new (as in never heard before) ween song. I don't love Rhino but I do like that they gave this to us. It doesn't sound AI but I'm a little nervous especially with the AI animations they've been using lately. Pretty cool stuff though I'll always listen to new Ween.
The middest one. I liked Make Them Cry, Ran To Atlanta, National Treasures, and What Did I Miss. Everything else blends together in a typical Drake fashion. If it does stand out, it is in a bad way. Future and Molly Santana both could've had better verses but the two of them are the strongest link in this album.
