As someone who thinks half of Clancy is really meh, I'm glad they came back with an album that's at least consistent in quality
This song made me feel 3 completely different emotions and I am now not okay.
LISTENING TO EVERY TWENTY ONE PILOTS SONG

Twenty One Pilots is always best when they perform live, and this EP is no exception. It doesn't innovate on any of the songs but they do manage to sound better for the most part!

Blurryface was my introduction to twenty one pilots so the album does hold a slight soft spot in my heart despite the overdone production and generic pop hits found within. The album starts off very strong and has some outliers in the middle of the album but falls off towards the end of the album.

The bonus tracks for Vessel are a mixed bag, there's some really good live versions of songs that I enjoy listening to but most of the RAB rereleases fall a bit short from the rest of Vessel

Vessel is probably my favorite twenty one pilots record and it always has been. Some songs on the tracklist are a bit weaker than others but for the most part every song sounds really nice and I enjoyed relistening!

Regional At Best (Newsletter Version) features yet another song that would end up on Vessel, and yet again it manages to miss the mark compared to House of Gold on Vessel which, in my opinion, is the weakest track on that album. Two was a decent listen through but felt like a bit of a nothing song even compared to the base RAB.

Yikes. Regional At Best feels like the weird middle child between Self-Titled and Vessel and it shows. The production is lackluster and doesn't have as much energy as Vessel which is seen clearly from the demos. Moments that should feel impactful just don't, but some tracks feel better than others. At times where I wasn't bored the album felt at it's worst, Lovely and ... read more

Starting with their first album, titled appropriately, Twenty One Pilots manages to have some very compelling instrumentals on most songs. The thing holding it back is the vocals and length, the album was a bit of a drag to get through but overall I had a decent time listening to this record. The rating could also come down to the style of music not being my ... read more
EDIT: seeing these guys live has changed my whole perspective on this album, one of the best things I've heard live.
