This is like all the good parts of Oasis mixed with all the worst parts of post-Blue Weezer. Nothing here felt fresh for 1996 and most of the tracks were middle of the road.

Very fuckin' solid alt rock and power pop. Not a single bad song, and it was made by fookin' 19 year olds!!!

Most Ash fans (and even the band) will say 1977 is their best effort ever released, I have to agree as this is the most fun and memorable of their career. Listen to: Lose Control, Girl From Mars, Angel Interceptor, Darkside Lightside, Kung Fu.
