A short and sweet little record, mostly serving to transition between P-MODEL's genre as Post Punk to Art Pop, with a more heavy synth focus. This album was made almost entirely by Hirasawa himself, and as such there are few Hirasawa solo work classics that find their origin in this record: namely, Frozen Beach and Fish Song, which would be remade in 時空の水 and サイエンスの幽霊, respectively. Interesting album with slightly aged production. The drum machine triangle sound gets HAMMERED throughout the album.

Frozen Beach stands out, it has a different sound than the rest of the album and foreshadows the future Hirasawa style. It's the best track. Hirasawa would re-do this track later on down the line.

Boat is wild, it has to be the silliest thing Hirasawa has ever recorded, it's a lovely hoot, and a shocking 2nd track after the majesty of Frozen Beach. STEALTHMAN actually ... read more
