I definitely hear the dated/cheesy criticism a lot more on this record than their debut. Most of these tracks are technically produced well but really do sound hella dated through today’s lens. That closer is rad tho

“A Broken Frame” is certainly a slump for Depeche Mode, it’s not completely horrible but I do think it can get fairly bad at times.
