"Leave The Capitol" has an incredible bassline and is the perfect way to finish off this 6-song set. "Prole Art Threat" is a fantastic 2 minute art-punk burst/declaration of intent. "Slates, Slags etc." betrays MES' love for The Stooges and the band more than live up to their influence. "Fit and Working Again" and "Middle Mass" are well above their usual standard of great. This is as niche as tribal Post Punk can get, but it's good. I don't mind the mindless experimenting and bassy bassy bongo bongos, but that's just my Sonic Youth side telling me that experimenting with nails and hitting a donkey with a guitar can count as experimentation.
That being said, this album is as good as your tolerance to 70's-80's post-punk nonsense is. For me it's great.
