Perverted by Language and The Wonderful and Frightening World of the Fall each push the idea a bit further, but it isn't until This Nation's Saving Grace that it really begins to bear fruit, matching the Fall's brittle rhythms with edgy, brash melodies.
I discovered The Fall around one year ago, this album was the first thing I've ever listened from them, and to this day I'm still obsessed with it. Mildly annoyed because I had to go to YouTube to listen to Smile, which is one of the best tracks on the album.
While my listen of this was a tad disorientating because of having to go to YouTube to find two of the songs, every single track on Perverted By Language is packed with interest. Yet another fantastic album in The Fall's discography.
