Rufus sounds way more inspired on this album compared to the debut album. This is a highlight in his career. Poses just feels raw and emotional and I love it.
Similarly to everything else I’ve heard from Rufus, this album is pretty inconsistent but has great production and singing the whole way through. Songs on here tend to appeal to me a lot, becoming favorites, or don’t do much for me at all.

Rufus Wainwright that i always saw compared to Cameron Winter's solo work, and after the Geesemania of 2025, i decided to check this out and i'm not disappointed, that voices do sound a lot similar as well as the overall sound
Rufus paints a poignant picture of his life via vignettes of himself and his close (and not very close) ones. Thought this album was VERY frontloaded on first listen, but it has proven itself to be a grower!
Rufus Wainwright is an artist I had heard about, but avoided. Even if many critics I respect have said nothing but nice things about him, maybe it was because he was commonly compared to music I do not like, or because of his verbose, musically dense ways.
