DIY
Dark and light, sweet yet savvy, layered but not overproduced – Foxes has created a work that embodies all these dichotomies and walks the line between them perfectly. It really is glorious.

The Line of Best Fit
Weirdly, it’s a coming-of-age record, doling out the party-credo and championing a generation, or at least giving them one last hurrah, before the inevitable, crushing, soul-destroying abyss of adult life. This might be a transient flash in the pan for some, but it’ll find a special, permanent home in the hearts of others.

AllMusic
While not every song is as memorable as the singles, the album on the whole is wrapped in a unique atmosphere that somehow manages to be both darkly moody and carefree.

Clash
With ‘Glorious’ Foxes has made a pop album that, despite occasionally drifting into melodrama, serves as an enjoyable listen stuffed with genuine pop-gems, sun-baked choruses and enough bite to warrant repeated listens.

NME
The formula wears pretty thin towards the end – bee-stung emoting in the verses, splashy catharsis in the chorus – but ‘Glorious’ is no failure.

The Guardian

While the lyrics are too cloying and cliched to mean much, in conjunction with such a button-pushing soundtrack, they still carry the capacity to move.

60
The Independent
There are fun dance tracks, but few real earworms. It adds up to a shallowly appealing, summery package; glossily produced and personality free.
60
The Observer
Though the album is formulaic and polished, there is enough crackle in its dark, lustrous soundscapes and tales of nocturnal romance to intrigue – and Allen's voice has the power to match those booming drums.

This album is a core memory for me. Foxes was the first person I ever stanned back when I was like 12. Her music has the most overwhelming feelings of nostalgia for me, more than any other artist. My judgment on this album is definitely clouded with nostalgia but I'll try my beast to talk about the actual music. This album feels like a very quintessential indie pop record for its time. There are many great elements here that still stand today. There are just a lot of beautiful melodies and ... read more

We all agree that Foxes gave us one of the most beautiful EDM/House tracks with Zedd in 2012: "Clarity" pushed her to what we expect her to be: Greatness.

Louisa, with her debut "Glorious" really sticked to its title, meaning that this a whole ride for people who love Dance Music with influences in synthpop, indie pop and, overall pop. This album is a complete burst of energy with her shy but charming vocals, Foxes really made one of the most standout and at the same time ... read more

Most of the songs (especially at the start and the end) are not really interesting but there's still some gems on here like "Let go for tonight", "Glorious", "Echo" and "Night owls early birds"
