Pop punk, huh?

I threw Brain Invaders on just to check it out, but I didn't expect to be confused. I have very little experience with Zebrahead, but even from what I had heard, I didn't expect this. It feels like Zebrahead's answer to the new Sum 41 album...even though that came out months later. It's heavier, it's got a thrashing edge, and still maintains a poppy, melodic style. "We are reborn from the bottom" is one of the outstanding lines here, and pretty much summarizes the entire record, the previous album saw them catching new life out of their endless mid-career, Brain Invaders just took that and kept pushing forward.
