Honestly - Part 24
Virgin Prunes - If I Die, I Die (1982)
So… I honestly don’t even know how I found this album, but I definitely don’t regret it. Quite the opposite. This is an Irish experimental, gothic, post-punk, punk-rock album that really captures the atmosphere of Ireland at the time. I actually did hear Baby Turns Blue before (it’s a classic for a reason), so I guess I have an opportunity to listen to the whole thing!! overall, it’s very atmospheric, sounds like The Cramps if they were goths and also raised in some 19th century Irish village. will surely be revisiting the album, when there’s a specific mood… (apparently I also got this recommended by @Szala, so ty for the rec lol)

Plus... yeah, those vocals, like everyone else said... this ain't it chief. I could kinda tolerate ... read more
