Impeccably produced throughout. The opening track is a massive highlight that melds vibrant drums and beautiful strings into a thunderous introduction. While I still enjoyed the following 3 tracks, there's an overabundance of samples of dialogue, vocals, and cartoon sound effects sprinkled in that just feel random and distracting.

The relatively recent duo in the UK Bass scene make a tremendous splash with their debut, Deshoda. Unleashed from genre and orthodox compositions, the duo crafts 4 mind bending, ear piercing and groovy as hell tunes. From the epic, titanic-in-size opener, A Giant Carries the City, to the show stopper and genuine envelope pushing The Impulsive State. Moments of ethereal, airy beauty are juxtaposed with grimmy, heavy, bass-filth. Great, great, great.
