All Hail continued to refine the matured trajectory Norma Jean was on since Wrongdoers. An eponymous album of sorts (all hail the almighty Norma Jean. A little pretentious but I'll let it slide), it touches upon everything they've done over the past decade with rather finely-tuned results. Is it their most memorable moment? Well, I'd probably place it with Anti-mother in comparison. Straight down the middle in a career full of highs is nothing to scoff at.
Definitely not as good as "Wrongdoers" but still a really solid metalcore record. Some of my favorite Norma Jean songs are on this album :)
I think this album lost a lot of the Norma Jean essence to me. They fully went with the slightly generic modern metalcore sound and It's just not my thing. It's not surprising since I'm pretty sure most of the original band members had left at this point.
