i'm familiar with some of montaigne's work already, since i think @bucko recommended their music to me some time after their latest album came out. i've also heard some of their collabs like the ones with tom cardy and dadi freyr. so i went into this hoping it would at least be better than their eurovision stuff

Not sure how to feel about this one. On the surface I should love it, but honestly? It's just okay. I like the voice, it reminds me of Gaga mixed with MARINA, and the backing tracks are cool, but something doesn't really hit like it should. It's not bad, but also mostly forgettable.
