The shadow Wormed cast with Exodromos is monolithic. The album is fast, technical, melodic, bleak, and endlessly interesting.
Exodromos is a step beyond the type of music people expect the band to limit itself to, but at the same time it retains the aesthetics and the formulas of the genre. And that, although is great for the fans of this particular niche, is itself a limitation. A magnificent and exciting limitation.
Crushing cyber annihilation.
"Nucleon" moves with an ominous reading before the cacophony of destruction. Wonky and crushing in rhythm. Nasty vocal presence as well, intense technical fury with some fun loose and violent bounce. The drums move with haste and skill, vicious slicing from the riffing. Nice work, an immediate thrill.
