Windmill Scene Deep Dive - Squid's Lino
Now that I've got their studio albums out of the way it's time to dive into the era of Squid I'm unfamiliar with, their EPs. We start with their first release available on streaming, Lino. This is immediately a detour from their usual sound as it finds Squid in a much more post-rock and psychedelic atmosphere than the art punk they became known for on Bright Green Field, but it still works.

Squids debut EP is interesting but the first and last songs are a bit one note and too ambient for me personally. I liked the second song but it wasn’t anything too memorable. Overall this was an okay EP that wasn’t too memorable for me sadly.
