For the time when it was released, this album sounds both very old school and very experimental and innovative, it’s quite funny.
Even in terms of lyrics, it’s a really weird record, but it’s damn good for all that.
A quirky and characterful album, that also demonstrates some genuine craft. There is a clear reverence for 80s hip-hop, but this doesn't get in the way of producing something creative.
this has some big MF DOOM vibes. hilarious yet potent lyrics, hot beats, it's got all sorts. this needs more recognition in the hip-hop world. first 2 tracks are a bit of a let-down in comparison to what comes later in the album, but other than that it's pretty good.
