I was listening to the Hillbillies today and remembered they sampled this song and I realized I have never heard it before. It is crazy how they turned a Bon Iver song into one of the craziest beats of 2023, but I think it is also worth admiring the original piece and it's glory. It's crazy how I might have never heard this track, or even Justin's work, if it wasn't for Baby Keem sampling it on Hillbillies. That's a crazy sentence: Baby Keem helped me discover Bon Iver. That definitely wasn't on my bingo sheet, that's for sure. Thanks Baby Keem.

Teasing us with a new album eh? Season 5 eh? Well PDLIF is a great start, still filled with the sonic experimentation Bon Iver has become known for with their last 2 releases, but this time there are more recognisable song elements like verses and choruses that let the listener grab onto as the rest of the wild ride continues.
