Reminds me of the time I was in my middle school journalism class, and I was looking through those "when you see it you'll shit bricks" memes. One of them I came across was a jumpscare, I just didn't know it yet. After five seconds of me looking at a picture of a building with a red circle surrounding one of the windows, Jeff the Killer popped up and I screamed out loud in class as the teacher was talking. Kid Trash is a UK based cloud-rap artist who I heard some buzz about for the project and oh my GOD I can see why. This is a gorgeously produced, uniquely performed and deeply atmospheric release which just absolutely envelops you in this terrifying, but also heavenly world that this music inhabits, where you can't escape, but wouldn't ever want to.
