I haven’t heard of Ploom before so this will be new.
I love that melodic guitar lingering. The track has a nice feel and flow in it. Guitar in some parts reminds me of the Strokes. I like the rhythm changes coming out of the blue, but they are at the same time disruptive and breaks the flow. But interesting, nevertheless. A great start.

I didn't know what to expect going into this EP and I only got this recommendation from a friend. I'm happy to say that this EP really impressed me, especially given that I don't explore this genre. The vocals don't really sound natural, but that's my only major issue with it. This seems like a solid effort from an interesting group that I'll have to keep my eye out for.
This is a great debut EP for Ploom. They play some great modern psych rock that I love. There isn't a bad song on this EP. It shows that Ploom has some great potential, and it excites me to see what they do next. Favorite Track: Tuscon Sun.
