The album was short and sweet. I noticed that I started to loose interest after there she goes. Until that point the album was quite good. Some songs seemed like they were too short. But that might have been a good thing because my short attention span these days. The album left me with a good mood and that is not a common thing to happen.
This album had a lot of texture. It lingers on the lighter side of the spectrum mostly because of the synths and quitar parts. The drums seemed at times to be on point dynamic awesomeness and other times really boring drum machine type of stuff. The best parts in this album were transitions and how they were made. Yes, I am one of those Metallica listeners who only loves their big hits. Enter Sandman was my gateway to them. I dabbeled into their thrash albums and I could not stand them. After a while I feel like if I hear another rif my ears a starting to bleed.

This album is close to greatness. I really love the basic sound of the band. Drummer is on point. Bass, guitar and drummer play together well, and I love the lead singer’s voice. Synth sounds excellent and it is really the selling point of the band. Something that makes it unique. For me because of the singers voice the music sounds at times like R.E.M combined with synth and bit of Coldplay on the mix.
I think the track Lilac has a good balance and structure. It also has a good chorus. ... read more
