I think this is what the critics of Harlem World hear when they listen to it, because for every critique I've seen on Mase's debut album actually applies to his sophomore album, Double Up, instead. This album encapsulates what made the shiny suit era actually quite bland and uninteresting with little to no variety at all in tracklisting or topics. There's a knock-off 24 Hrs. There's one good song on here.

Ma$e was never that interesting to me and even his debut which is hailed has a classic is nothing more than average to me. His 2004 album is wack. This album is argubaly even worse. Unfortunately as a ma$e fan i heard of this album being disappointing and the rumors were true, its like a watered down harlem world. His rapping is decent but he sounds so bored making it, like puffy forced him to rap. And the production is whatever and the hooks are kinda weak. Sad. He would come back though on welcome back.
