Making an argument for this as one of the most overlooked albums in the great 'Indie Sleaze' pantheon. Datarock's first album was filled with silly innuendo-laden indie disco tunes which was charming enough but this takes the band's goofy wit and squares that with a newly-developed nose for great, succinct pop songwriting via some heavy influence from Talking Heads and Thomas Dolby amongst other 80s new-wave greats. The line "You gotta dance" from "Dance!" is sung in the exact same way as the line "Just one sip would make me sick" in "Love Drunk" by Boys Like Girls
